Nova in M31 Scoperta dal Monte Baldo
La notte del 24 agosto abbiamo rilevato un transiente in M31, segnalandolo su Transient Name Server. L'oggetto è stato inserito nel database come AT 2024ssq. La notte successiva l'oggetto è stato classificato come Nova da Claudio Bacon.

Castellani, Verona, Italy reports the discovery by Flavio Castellani, Vittorio Andreoli and Raffaele Belligoli, in the course of the ISSP Italian Supernovae Search Project, of an apparent nova on a co-added 6000sec unfiltered images taken with a Moravian G4-9000 KAF CCD unfiltered, from Monte Baldo Observatory (Ferrara di Monte Baldo, Verona, Italy), with the 0.4m f.8 Ritchey-Chrétien telescope, obtained on 2024/08/24.927 UT. The new object is located at RA 00 43 00.01 DEC +41 00 24.3 (equinox 2000.0) Apparent magnitude about 17.1 in host Galaxy M31 Nothing is visible at this position on 2024/08/17.9291 as reference.
